Our Story

Kia Ora!

Our names are Dan and Lizzie and we are the founders of Matchday Wardrobe. We first crossed paths in Ireland and lived there for five years before relocating to New Zealand in 2023. Dan was born and raised in Cork, Ireland, while Lizzie grew up in Auckland, New Zealand.

Dan has a huge passion for football and the history that comes with it. While Lizzie enjoys sitting down to watch Super Sunday matches with Dan, she is more driven by the fashion and photography side of things.

Together, we have combined our strengths and interests, with the hope of bringing every football fan something special. We carefully hand-pick each authentic item and ensure that we stock a diverse range of nationalities and clubs, with affordable prices.

We are in love with this line of work and how we can give pre-loved clothing a new home whilst supporting the sustainable fashion community.
